Hello people, how are you? I am not so well. We have a bonus plan here at work. All you have to do is sell more than 5 vehicles at over 1000 thousand down and you get a bonus. I hit 4 again this week, SUXXXXXX big time. 1000 a week is ok money but a $500 dollar bonus is cool, dont you think.

With all the kiddos going back to school around here, traffic was bad this morning. Yup! Shore was!

Business feels back to normal, with the kids back in school, mom and dad can do the important things now like spend money on transportation instead of clothes and shoes and supplies. We both know the kids have been eating and raising the electric bill at home all summer.

Gas prices, dont get me started. I found an old reciept from last year the gas was half what it is now! $2.59 a gallon is BS!!!!!!!!!!!!! whO CAN AFFORD TO FRIKIN FILL UP ANYMORE???????

I just had a customer show up looking for a vehicle with a thousand down she was ready she said. OK so i started filling out the application and the first thing I ask for always is their drivers license. She said ohhh do i need that/ DUHHHHHHHH yeahhhhhhh, she said well i owe on a traffic ticket, i cant get my license right now? I said how much? Only 500 hunskie? Only .....only...my partner jumped in and said no problem lets call the police and they can fix your license....I aint never seen anyone run out of here so fast....BYe dont let the door hit you.

First preseason game was this weekend, we lost of course.. oh well. Its sucked and i have season tickets again this year yeah.....big whoopy.

First of all, thanks for reading my blog. I am here at work now. Ready to spill my guts. I will be putting in real only real stories and adventures. I will answer real questions on buying and selling cars, just email me or post something for me like a question or why are they doing this and I will get you the answer and post it. The truth and nothing but. I have 10 years used car experience and my partner over here has over 15 years, we will upfront and blunt.

OK first of all. Salespeople get paid differently at every type of dealership, mostly its commission. A % of the profit or a flat rate per vehicle sold, some dealers give a bonus when a certain number of units are sold in a week or a month. Managers are mostly on salary some on both commission and salary with bonus of course.

There is all types of customers. 1st time buyers, repeat customers, internet customers, drive by customers, referral customers, auto magazine customers, and can't buy shit customers or flakes.

That may have sounded rude but I aint holding back. This is how we think daily. If we don't sell something we don't get paid for our time today. what a waste of time might as well have called in huh. We dont get paid for calling in. The reason I like this business is that every day is different. New people every day its very challenging, and we dont dig ditches and we can make 200 to 1000 dollars in a few hours. For talking and writing and being nice for helping people get transportation.

How did i start in this business? It is a very funny story. 10 Years ago I was working for my fathers insurance business. He was on his 4th or 5th wife and I had enough of the family business and its bull shit. I had just bought a firebird trans am for my wife she had just got her drivers license, yeah she was young. I was returning it to the lot because i could not see myself paying for it without a job. The sales manager of the place I bought was a tall good looking italian female. She asked me what happend with my employment and after telling her the story, she offered me a job selling. To be honest I would have taken a job car washing if she had offered. I will write more on the begining everyday promise.

Today looks cloudy, ha dan email from a miss jackson who wants a vehicle today. She says in the email to me If you can make this go quicker I have up to 1500 dollars today. Thats magic to my ears those two words, one $ money the second is today. The #1 one reason people dont buy is they dont have the $,money today.

Money and Insurnace and guess what?????? You can drive it today! How's that sound? We now have a $500 dollar down lot, we get paid half our regular but its better than nothing.
